Genevieve Jagger at Paisley Book Festival

Get ready for a night of dark and witchy tales, chaired by the wonderful Kirsty Logan, as I, along with two of Scotland’s up-and-coming horror writers, delve into the shadows. Camila Grudova, shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction with her debut novel "Children of Paradise," returns with a spine-tingling collection of short stories, "The Coiled Serpent", filled with uncanny occurrences and queasy bodily encounters. As for me, a queer tarot card reader and witch, I'll be showcasing my hot-off-the-press debut novel, "Fragile Animals". Join me as I take you on a journey where an ex-Catholic woman seeks solace on the Isle of Bute but ends up discovering something wholly more frightening and alluring. Come along and let us unravel the mysteries behind our startling and visionary prose.
